I handle all aspects of daily pet wellness, including dog walking, pet sitting, and flexible drop-in and socialisation services for feeding and companionship. I also provide essential practical support, including a dedicated pet taxi to vet appointments, convenient medication collection from your local practice, and a gentle, dignified deceased pet collection service during difficult times.
Routine grooming and hygiene
Delivered with clinical expertise and a gentle touch, I provide nail clipping services, ear cleaning, and external anal gland expression. I offer prompt tick removal to protect against parasites, as well as welfare dematting focused strictly on removing painful knots and matting to restore your pet's comfort and skin health.

I offer puppy and kitten chats to provide you with the tools you need to care for the next generation of our furry friends. I also provide senior pet advice to keep your ageing pet comfortable, and clinical weight consultations to manage and maintain optimal body health. Other consultation topics include advice and support with stressed cats and anxious dogs.
Working under the direction of your primary veterinary surgeon I can offer post-op checks and specialised post-op nursing care in your home, alongside practical clinical tasks like bandage changes and suture removal. To ensure your pet’s treatment plan stays on track, I administer medication, take blood pressure readings, and provide support and advice for newly diagnosed conditions such as diabetes to ensure you feel confident in keeping your pet stable and comfortable.
In addition to my mobile services, I am pleased to offer reliable, professional locum vet nurse cover for veterinary practices across Sheffield and surrounding areas. This allows me to keep my hands-on nursing skills completely up to date.

External anal gland expression
External anal gland expression relieves minor discomfort and prevents your pet's glands from leaking. Please note that external expression only partially empties the glands. A full, internal expression is technically classified as a Schedule 3 procedure under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, which can only be performed by Student and Registered Veterinary Nurses when under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon under the same employment. My mobile service focuses solely on external expression to keep your pet comfortable between their regular vet visits.
Ear cleaning
I am happy to provide routine ear cleaning for pets with mild, everyday waxy build-up. Please note that if your pet is showing signs of ear discomfort, irritation, or is undergoing active veterinary treatment, I cannot perform a routine clean. I can, however, provide this care as part of a structured treatment plan prescribed by your vet through my Veterinary Referral Nursing Service.
Nail clipping
Nail clipping can be stressful for pets, especially when combined with the anxiety of a vet clinic visit. By coming to your home, I can take my time and use treats to make the experience as calm and positive as possible. If your pet is particularly anxious, they may benefit from pre-visit anti-anxiety medication. Just ask your vet for advice prior to our appointment.
Holding only
If you simply need an extra pair of hands to safely hold your pet while you administer medication, clip claws, or groom, I am happy to help. With years of professional veterinary nursing experience, I am highly skilled at handling even the most wriggly pets in a calm, safe, and gentle manner. You can focus on your pet's care while I ensure they remain securely and comfortably held, reducing stress for both of you.

Whether you are unable to leave the house due to health issues, or your schedule is simply too hectic to squeeze in another appointment, my pet taxi service is here to help. I will safely transport your pet to and from the veterinary clinic so they never miss out on essential care. Please note that this service is for the transportation of your pet only. To ensure their medical needs are met correctly, you must be available to speak directly with your vet over the phone during the appointment to discuss their health and treatment.
